When I returned Lisbeths finished book to her I also included another book for her to embellish. Here it is uncut and unfolded..

This time I used card as a substrate, having discovered that watercolour paper did not fold cleanly. I glued some papers that I had painted and stencilled, mostly, with a few bits that I had in my stash, from swaps, as I recall.
I cut and folded it before I sent it to Lisbeth.

I also included a piece for the cover

The book has arrived back with me and Lisbeth has added her trademark class and style to it, it’s a delight, so much to see.

You can see my original page on the left, and Lisbeths embellishments on the right

Here is a video Lisbeth made of the book before she posted it to me, she has allowed me to share it, which is great because it really shows off the book, much better than photos. I have really enjoyed this collaboration with Lisbeth, we might do another one in the dark days of winter, when any excitement is welcome. Watch this space 🙂
