It’s that time of year again when there is mention of The 100 Day Project, this year it starts on 18th February which is not that far away. Today is day 100 of my 100 Day Project, I have done 100 portraits of people who sent me photos, I have posted every day for 100 days, I have not missed one day, yay for me! However my smugness is somewhat diminished by the fact that I spent a couple of hours on Friday night writing a blogpost about the experience, which only needed a photo or two added to it today and it would be ready to publish, but some utter eejit* failed to save it, so I’m having to write it all over again.… Read the rest

Day 36 of my 100 Day Project seems a good time to do a follow up blog post , not least because 36 photos create a pleasing 6 x 6 grid. I am enjoying the project so far, and I’m amazed how many people I don’t know in real life have sent me photos of themselves for me to mess about with.… Read the rest

Yay, I have completed my 100 Day Project which consisted of me making a 2 inch mixed media piece for 100 days . It has taken me 171 days, but I got there in the end. For the final phase I used fabric that I received in a swap from Marianne Tighe.
She dyed it herself using the ice dye method and Procion Dyes.… Read the rest
